With its Outstanding Ofsted rating, the school offers excellent opportunities for joyful and engaging learning experiences.About the Role: The successful candidate will support learning through engaging, personalised activities and help create a safe, motivating environment for all nursery-aged students.Key Responsibilities:
- Support children in the nursery with daily learning activities tailored to their individual needs.
- Assist in delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that encourages emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social skills through structured and play-based activities.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a nurturing environment.
- Observe, record, and report on children’s progress to inform planning and personalised support strategies.
- Previous experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or SEN setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive early years practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt support according to individual needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to support a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
