- To focus on carrying out stock condition and EPC performance surveys of Teign Housing’s owned and managed facilities, ensuring that the company is compliant with Building Regulations, Housing Standards and all associated legislation.
- Raising tenders for work and providing all necessary CDM and building regulations/planning information prior to work being commenced.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Senior Building Surveyor, Commercial Manager and Director of Operations when necessary.
- To facilitate and administer work packages from conception through to completion ensuring that throughout all activities, the highest standards of customer care, service, integrity and professionalism are met.
- To comply with all HSE legislation and regulations associated with the role.
- A related degree or be willing to work towards a professional qualification or equivalent.
- Good technical writing, pre and post contract experience, knowledge of CDM, Building Regulations & Housing Standards
- Experience gained from the Construction industry, trade background, with proven management experience.
- Ability to use MS Office applications
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills - ability to maintain communication between partner contractors, staff, tenants, tenant groups, leaseholders and outside
- organisations, organising, attending and participating at tenant consultation and resident group meetings as required.
