We are currently working in partnership with a nationwide Social Housing, who are looking to appoint a 2 Mutli-Skilled Carpenters on a permanent basis.This will be a full-time position based in Swindon/Devizes, with a van and Fuel Card included and an annual reimbursement of £36,838 per annum.The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out responsive repairs, liaising with tenants and logging works via a PDA system.Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Carrying out responsive carpentry works, and all associated trades
  • Completing work to a first-time fix where possible, ensuring the tenant is happy with the provided works
  • Working within tenanted properties, ensuring to always embody the values of the organisation
  • Completing works in line with Health and Safety regulations, and in adherence with compliance regulations
Experience required:
  • Experience delivering responsive repairs
  • Experience working within tenanted properties
  • Experience carrying out all associated trades works
  • Experience logging works on a PDA system
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (City & Guilds)
Working hours:
  • 39 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
