
Banqueting Head Chef

- Oversees kitchen operations, including production, cleanliness and safe work systems in our Banqueting kitchen
- Ensures timely delivery of high-quality food for guests at conferences and events (events for up to 600 seated for dinner service), consistently exceeding expectations
- Encourages and supports the team, fostering a fun, positive, and creative work environment whilst coaching and developing ambitious individuals
- To have been a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef for 1-2 years within a hotel of comparable size and complexity.
- To be experienced in local cuisine, with practical experience of at least one other cuisine and experience catering large functions
- Has knowledge of appropriate working to brand standards relating to food and the ability to create and deliver appropriate menus, using appropriate suppliers and product
- Is part of external networks and is up to date with critical issues and trends in food
- Has the technical skills to work on every section within a busy banqueting kitchen when needed
- As a minimum, must have completed level 3 Food Safety certification and have knowledge in HACCP
