We need a person who loves to fix, clean, build, check, unblock, paint, mow, weed and take genuine ownership and pride in our school. In return, we can promise a school full of amazing children, a genuine staff team and a well-resourced environment.The Caretaker will be directly responsible to the Head of School but will work closely with the Trust Buildings Manager, Senior Leadership Team, Office Manager, and other school staff.The Caretaker is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the school site ensuring the buildings and grounds are clean and safe, ready for the children and staff to work, learn and play. Your role will include opening up and locking up the school, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standardsWe are seeking:
  • · Someone who is proactive and diligent
  • · Has a trade background/training in either plumbing, joinery, plastering, painting/decorating, electrician, grounds maintenance
  • · Ability to multi task across a range of activities
  • · A conscientious person who sets high standards with attention to detail
  • · Someone who can develop good relationships with staff and has excellent communication skills
  • · A good team member, but able to work independently
