- Perform structural design and calculations for new and existing buildings
- Attend client, site, and technical meetings
- Coordinate with drafting technicians
- Carry out building surveys and inspections, writing up your findings
- Prepare cost estimates and issue fee proposals
- Maintain client relationships and support local business growth
- Keep up with structural engineering standards, CDP, and legislation
- Degree qualified (BEng/MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Actively working toward chartered status (ICE or IStructE), or already chartered
- Excellent technical ability and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a team and communicating clearly
- Enjoy growing the business and engaging with clients
