- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Source, evaluate and manage suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality products and materials at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers while maintaining compliance and risk management standards.
- Work closely with engineering, R&D and production teams to understand technical requirements and ensure supplier capabilities.
- Monitor market trends, material availability and geopolitical risks.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics for procurement activities and suppliers.
- Optimize procurement processes through automation, ERP systems and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards and company policies.
- Travel requires supporting another site in Carlisle.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience of procurement in the manufacturing industry preferably in the security product’s environment.
- Desirable to have strong knowledge of sourcing mechanical and electronic hardware products from the far-east.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
