
Client Manager, Leisure - UK and Ireland

- Developing a detailed annual strategic sales action plan as well as quarterly plans for assigned accounts.
- Maintain frequent personal contact and collaboration with property-based sales, revenue management and reservations teams to ensure sound up-to-date product knowledge and alignment with sales strategies.
- Qualify transient sales leads and conduct necessary follow through to secure new bookings that fit with the parameters of 'desirable' business.
- Utilise internal data and external information to analyse and evaluate account productivity.
- Establish and nurture a partnership relationship with key contacts, decision makers, bookers and influencers within each owned account.
- Conduct regular product training and communicate promotions to ensure that Belmond remains front-of-mind, including educational trips according to the action plan.
- Host events with key accounts and their clients throughout the year and assist the Divisional Director of Sales with annual sales series, strategic partner events and trade shows.
- Utilise selling, negotiating and closing tools to increase conversion ratios.
- Manage allocated budget and expenses .
- The role is generally able to benefit from our current hybrid working policy where team members can work remotely for up to two days per week.

- This role requires international travel. You must be able and willing to travel without undue restriction.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent with a preference for degrees/diplomas in hospitality or a related subject.
- At least two-years relevant experience within a similar role in the luxury hospitality/travel industry.
- A sound understanding of the UK luxury leisure travel market and key players.
- A history of harvesting business through existing accounts, clienteling and bringing on board new valuable clients.
- Experience in developing a sales action plan aimed at establishing positive, ongoing relationships with clients and strong Win:Win partnerships
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Confident public speaker with an ability to professionally present and promote the brand and the organization.
