Are you passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces?Do you have a natural ability to spot the next big trend and bring fresh, creative ideas to life?If so, we want you to join our team at VictorianPlumbing.co.uk as our new Junior Interior Product Designer.We're looking for someone with a natural eye for design and a passion for homeware, from gorgeous decorative pieces to practical, everyday items. While a technical background is great, we're really focused on finding someone with a flair for creativity and a willingness to learn. You'll be the creative force behind our new collections, helping us shape the future of our product range.Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Become a Trend Detective: Research the latest interior trends, from hotel design to the home decor market, and translate them into stunning new product ideas for our customers.
  • Generate Fresh Ideas: Contribute to the creation of new products and collections, from stylish furniture and brassware to unique accessories and decorative items.
  • Showcase Your Creativity: Develop mood boards, create design concepts, and use your skills with software like Adobe Illustrator to bring your visions to life.
  • Collaborate and Grow: Work closely with our wider team to present your ideas, gather feedback, and help us refine our in-house design process.
  • Focus on the Customer: Help us understand what our customers want and need, ensuring your designs are both beautiful and appealing to our target audience.
We're looking for someone with:
  • A qualification in a design or creative field.
  • Experience or a strong interest in interior design or homeware products.
  • The ability to use design software like Adobe Illustrator.
  • A fantastic eye for detail and a natural creative flair.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present your ideas to others.
  • An eagerness to learn and collaborate with a team.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in our new Leyland office, 5 days per week, Mon-Fri 08:30 – 17:00.If you're ready to dive into a role where your creativity can truly shine, we'd love to hear from you.
