- Defines project governance models and reporting structures for effective project delivery, and communicates (and updates) business stakeholders
- Define and implement programme controls and governance (aligned with Value Management Office) to ensure process, documentation, risks and issues and Health and Safety practice comply with best practice and ISO standards
- Oversees prioritisation and selection of projects, managing overall output and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Responsible for supporting cross-functional teams in project or product delivery
- Provides regular reports to other area leads and wider Arqiva
- Proactive risk management with close management of effective mitigations, escalating risks and issues in project governance where necessary supported by Delivery Team.
- Manages changes in scope, costs, resources, and timing within the framework of agreed governance and change control processes
- Assists with creation of detailed and accurate budgets and provide accurate forecasts monthly
- Take personal accountability for quality and accuracy of delivery management performance and deliverables
- Builds effective relationships across the Arqiva business, customer, and supplier organisations to drive trust and respect
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Business change management and communication planning
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experienced in either Agile or Waterfall Methodologies
- Strong understanding of project risk management, issue escalation processes and change management principles
- Proven ability to deliver projects in a timely manner, adhering to budget and stakeholder requirements
- Proven ability to develop, implement and run project governance frameworks and reporting structures
- Ability to translate business goals into clear project objectives and milestones
- Substantial experience managing medium, large and complex change.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, preferably having previously supported the transformation to a more agile environment
- Experience of delivering projects with budgets in excess of £500k
- Financial and project planning expertise
- Experienced in either Agile or Waterfall Methodologies
- A recognised project management qualification such as APM or Prince 2
