
Senior Quantity Surveyor

- Lead all QS activities on civils and utilities packages, from procurement through to final account.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointment in accordance with company procedures.
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Monitor and report project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Identify risks and value engineering opportunities in collaboration with design and site teams.
- Prepare and manage contract documentation (NEC, JCT, bespoke forms).
- Ensure cost control and commercial governance are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with planners, engineers, and the delivery team to ensure commercial alignment.
- Manage and mentor junior QS staff, promoting best practice and commercial awareness.
- Interface with client commercial teams and represent the company in commercial meetings.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline with experience in major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Proven track record working on airport projects or other high-security, live operational environments.
- Extensive experience in civils and utilities, including service diversions, drainage, and infrastructure works.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (Option A, C, or E).
- Experience in managing large subcontract packages and complex commercial negotiations.
- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
