Interview Date: To be confirmedAbout the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and experienced Section Manager for ESOL to join the School of ESOL. This is a fantastic opportunity for an education professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting young learners in developing their English language skills.As Section Manager, you will:
- Lead on planning, implementation and delivery of ESOL provision for young learners.
- Manage and support a team of ESOL teaching staff.
- Teach across a range of ESOL courses.
- Take responsibility for the School's Young Learner Full-time ESOL, Functional Maths, additional qualifications, and enrichment activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of provision.
- A relevant degree/professional qualification.
- An English Language Teaching qualification (CELTA, DELTA, Dip TESOL, MA ELT or equivalent).
- A full Level 5 teaching qualification recognised in the FE sector (PGCE, DET or equivalent).
- At least 3 years' experience delivering ESOL courses.
- Experience in curriculum coordination and supervision of staff.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
