iMultiply is delighted to be retained on an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded Finance Director to join the leadership team of a growing organisation based in Edinburgh.This is a pivotal role with full responsibility for the financial health of the business, including financial strategy, planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping long-term growth and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with the executive team to align financial strategy with business goals
  • Oversee cash flow, funding, and working capital management
  • Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and governance standards
  • Manage audits, payroll, VAT, invoicing, and supplier/customer contracts
  • Implement financial systems, SOPs, KPIs, and feasibility studies
Candidate Profile:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience within the Scottish business landscape is desirable
