As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be working in a multi-skilled role with a 70/30 mechanical to electrical bias (or vice versa, depending on your strength). You'll be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance on a range of machinery including pumps, hydrocoolers, and cooking vessels.Typical Duties Include:Responding to equipment breakdowns and conducting fault diagnosisCompleting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasksMechanical repairs including work on hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, bearings, gearboxes, and chainsElectrical tasks including working with 3-phase systems, motor testing, sensors, relays, and invertorsInvolvement in process improvement and contributing to maintenance schedulesDesirable Experience & Skills:NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant disciplineMechanical and/or electrical backgroundPLC fault finding (preferably Mitsubishi)Welding and light machiningPrevious experience in food production or fast-paced manufacturing is a bonusEx-Forces or international candidates with valid UK work rights welcomeWhat’s on Offer:Competitive salary of £45,00032 days holiday (including bank holidays)Pension schemeHealth and wellness support via ‘Help at Hand’Retail, food, and gym discounts via employee perks platformOvertime available
