Job Type: Full-Time / Rotating ShiftsGap Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Thetford for the role of Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and well-established energy-from-waste operation, playing a key role in supporting the daily functioning of the plant. This is a temp to perm role with the position highly likely to be made permanent. There is also significant opportunity for overtime.Pay Rates:Basic Rate: £13.25 per hourOvertime Rate: £17.67 per hourSunday & Bank Holiday Rate: £26.50 per hourShift Pattern:Rotating weekly- 5 days from 6- Mon-Sat between:05:00 – 13:3013:00 – 20:30Key Responsibilities:Unloading & loading incoming fuel materialsLoading and shovling materials into conveyors to maintain boiler operationsCleaning up any materials that fall from conveyors to ensure a safe and efficient environmentMonitoring and recording line temperaturesCarrying out routine cleaning of boilers and related systemsCompleting all relevant paperwork for deliveries and operationsEnsuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all timesCandidate Requirements:Previous experience in a similar industrial or plant environment (preferred)Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasksStrong focus on health and safetyHigh attention to detail and reliabilityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work rotating shifts, including potential weekends and bank holidaysBenefits:Competitive hourly pay with enhanced overtime and holiday ratesFull PPE providedOn-the-job training and developmentSupportive working environmentTo apply, please send your CV to or call 01603 767617 for more information.Gap Personnel Group is committed to equal opportunities.
