
Accountant, International Accounting

- Assist in the month-end close process and other assigned department tasks.
- Ensure data integrity for assigned accounts, with a focus on upstream internal controls over financial reporting.
- Book monthly journal entries and prepare related account reconciliations.
- Investigate and communicate reporting discrepancies in a clear and timely manner.
- Manage the preparation of monthly financial analytics and report on variances versus plan and prior periods to internal business partners and management.
- Assist in the development of SOX-compliant documentation for internal controls.
- Support external audit requests and actively maintain General Ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments, including FP&A, Accounts Payable, IT, and Supply Chain, to support business processes.
- Consistently evaluate areas for process improvement and automation.
- Provide support on special projects for the Senior Manager.
- Participate in ad hoc accounting or finance projects and analysis as assigned.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting theory and the application of U.S. GAAP.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in a complex ERP system is required.
- Experience in the technology, retail, or e-commerce industries is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners at various levels.
