SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER£47000 - £52000 plus BenefitsPermanentBirmingham, West MidlandsOur client, a growing engineering consultancy in Dudley, is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead complex residential, commercial, and industrial projects while mentoring junior staff within a supportive and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
  • Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and client requirements.
  • Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
  • Attend client meetings, coordinate with project teams, and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance on-site as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience as a structural engineer, ideally with a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit or other design software advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
