– Conduct thorough assessments to identify risks and develop effective safeguarding plans
– Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to protect and support vulnerable individuals
– Provide counsel and guidance to individuals and families, ensuring their voices are heard in the safeguarding process
– Maintain detailed and accurate records to support casework and decision-making
– Stay informed on legislation, such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, to uphold legal and ethical standards
– Conduct visits as needed, ensuring timely and effective interventionEssential requirements:
– Degree or equivalent in social work
– Current registration with Social Work England
– Substantial frontline social services experience in the UK as a qualified Social Worker
– Significant recent safeguarding experience
– Legal literacy, particularly regarding the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
– Proficient IT skills, ideally with experience using Mosaic
