Are you passionate with a commitment to providing a high-quality dining experience? The Plough and Harrow is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our culinary team. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. We are seeking an individual who shares our love for food, embraces creativity, and has exceptional culinary skills.The Plough and Harrow sits in the shadows of the Malvern Hills, a view that is best appreciated from the balcony of our beautiful first floor Private Dining room which seats up to 22 people. Downstairs the bar is positioned at the heart of all things, crammed with local ales and tipples to temp any taste buds. There are rooms to squirrel away in, in the old pub building, steeped in history or light bright seating areas in the new garden room or library. Stone terraces flank the pub both to the front and side of the building to follow the sun around throughout the day and our lovely lawn stretches out to make the most of the stunning location just outside the village centre of Guarlford.And there's plenty more in it for you:Your Bread and Butter

About you...Our kitchens are dynamic, fast paced, and high volume so you will have experience of being a head chef, chef manager, kitchen manager or senior sous chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment. You will be responsible for the food culture within your pub, working closely with the pub manager to drive the business forward, helping to formulate seasonal menus with our Executive Chefs. We are looking for a confident leader who will nurture their team and create an inclusive and supportive environment. You’ll also need excellent business acumen to manage a well-run kitchen, keeping on top of your stock, GPs and labour controls.About us...
