
MEG Manufacturing Technician (Electronics Electromechanical Inspector)

- An experienced electronics/electromechanical inspector that can inspect to IPC-610 standards/ Current IPC certificates in J-Std-001, IPC 610
- Experience with Microwave Circuitry
- Someone that can recognise defects on PCB's and mechanical assemblies
- Understanding of soldering to IPC standards
- Working within a cleanroom environment using high power microscopes and have excellent dexterity skills.
- Complete understanding of FOD/ESD/”clean as you go”
- Attention to detail and ability to inspect work ensuring that quality defects are flagged and constructive feedback given/ Ability to inspect to written instructions and drawings while adhering to production process times
- Coordinate and control production equipment in-line with company processes
- Ability to carry out both repeat production and varied one off types of work
- Should be familiar with substrate attach (duroid/ceramic), MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors, soldering skills and die attach.
- Previous experience of military and aerospace products
- Experience in a range of hybrid microelectronic assembly techniques including device attachment methods and interconnection techniques to identify and pursue solutions to shortcomings with respect to production methods and documentation.
- Interpretation and adherence to manufacturing planning
- Responsibility for designated 5s areas to be completed in line with daily/weekly/monthly sign off sheets
