- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in adjusting teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.
- Experience in SEN: Proven experience working with students with various SEN, including (list specific needs such as autism, learning difficulties, or physical disabilities).
- Passion & Empathy: A genuine passion for helping students with SEN and a deep understanding of their unique needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective interaction with students, teachers, and parents.
- Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a supportive team.
- Patience & Understanding: A calm and patient approach to working with students with diverse emotional and learning needs.
- Creative & Resourceful: The ability to think outside the box and use innovative methods to support student success.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- Relevant school experience is highly desirable.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (or equivalent experience).
- SEN experience is essential.
