What Are We Looking For?Our Electrical division is looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join us on a permanent basis in our Workshop in the Lincolnshire area. It will be your responsibility to allocate work on a day-to-day basis to Operatives and Apprentices in the absence of, or in assistance to, the Workshop Manager, ensuring that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety. You will also liaise with the Workshop Manager and project team informed of progress while undertaking the job holder’s own trade skills.RSE continue to go from strength to strength across the Water industry and our ambitious growth plans set us apart from the competition.Some of Your Key Duties Include:
  • Instruct, direct, control and allocate work to trade operatives and apprentices paying particular attention to quality, productivity and safety.
  • Set out work as appropriate.
  • Measure up for materials, respond to emergencies and changes in the work programme, acquiring essential plant and equipment.
  • Record and authorise man hours/time sheets in accordance with laid down procedures.
  • Obtain and record data for Health & Safety stats (near miss/lost time etc).
  • Ensure the serviceability and security of all allocated plant and equipment.
  • Where required manage toolbox talks, permits, review RAMS.
  • Compile RAMS as per Company procedure for the required works.
  • Assess tasks ensuring that appropriate certification and equipment is available.
  • Ensure that all necessary administration work is completed and returned in accordance with Company and client procedures.
  • Monitor apprentices to ensure tasks completed are delivered to the required quality of workmanship.
  • Complete and deliver any required QA documentation.
  • Identify any potential additional and future work while on site and pass on to the Project Engineer/Manager.
What Do You Need?
  • Time served fully qualified in their relevant trade City & Guilds, MA or equivalent with relevant qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be flexible and willing to travel.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
