- To undertake site surveys and provide the best technical advice on repairs, upgrades and installations
- Project manage installations regardless of size
- To be responsible for maintaining assigned PPE, tools and equipment
- To complete and submit client specific handover documentation to the client and project team
- To ensure a safe system of work is established and maintained for all projects
- To ensure assigned tools and equipment are thoroughly inspected as part of the ongoing equipment inspection regime
- Support the security & electrical supervisor and/or manager in the operational activities of contracts
- Respond to callouts to repair faulty systems and have a flexible approach to working hours
- Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
- Identify excessive working practices and identify and develop safer and efficient working practices
- To liaise with departmental staff, clients, contractors and suppliers in matters relating to work as appropriate
- To willingly be part of the out of hours service
- Ensure the Electrical & Security is updated on developments, problems and other issues affecting the performance of contracts
- To teach and develop apprentices
- Maintain a strong understanding of SSAIB standards and actively support company policies, especially regarding the protection of sensitive customer information
- Complete relevant paperwork to meet accreditations and standards, and maintain work vehicle in a safe, operational state
- Ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy
- On-site documentation (RAMS, etc) is completed, signed and adhered to for every project
- Follow all company procedures
- Work professionally and courteously at all times
