- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design choices.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and efficient work practices.
- Proven experience in painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
- A valid driving licence is essential for travelling to different job locations.
- Proficiency in English is required for understanding instructions and communicating with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics to achieve desired finishes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
