This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, or any role involving young people.About the role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll lead lessons in the absence of a teacher using materials provided by the school. You don't need to be a qualified teacher-just confident in managing a classroom, keeping students focused, and supporting a positive learning atmosphere.Main responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
- Keeping students on task and promoting engagement
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Answering student questions and offering basic support
- Reporting any concerns or incidents to school staff
- Confident communicators with a strong presence in the classroom
- Organised, engaging, and adaptable
- Positive, proactive, and approachable
- Passionate about helping young people succeed in education
- Experienced within a classroom environment
