Pertemps West Midlands and Shropshire driving division are recruiting for mulitiple HGV 1 Driver on a temp to perm basis for one of our prestigious clients based in Market Drayton, Telford.The roles will entail and not limited to:
- Safely drive and operate multiple HGV vehicles comprising of, flatbed, walking floor, skip lorry and trailer, curtain sider & tipper.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations
- Use of PDA for vehicle checks/route planning/PODs
- Provide excellent customer service to customers
- Report vehicle defects
- Collaborate with team members for smooth operations
- Represent the company professionally at all time
- Category C+E driving qualification (held for a minimum of 2 years)
- Experience operating above vehicles advantageous
- Good understanding and knowledge of current regulations with regards to EU driver hours, Working Time Directive and Driver's Tachograph restrictions.
