This is a pivotal role at the heart of our HV business. You’ll be leading the team that undertake complex HV cable systems design.Our Power Grids Design team is the driving force behind some of the UK’s most challenging and innovative energy projects, from transmission systems to windfarm developments. As team leader you’ll not only guide the design of complex HV cable systems but also shape the success of project that power communities and support the UK’s energy future!You will be responsible for:As Team LeaderLead, coach and develop TeamSchedule/coordinate team activitiesCollate and report agreed KPIsMaintain and update Engineer development plansIdentify any training and development training requirements within the teamDevelopment of new innovative design solutionsOptimisation of Design WorkflowsSupervision/Mentoring of Engineering Placement StudentAs Design EngineerLead Design Engineer on projects.
