Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing major contracts and driving innovation in work-winning processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pre-contract team and associated bid management activities, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
  • Oversee prequalification documentation and tender appraisals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analysing post-tender feedback and implementing lessons learned.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary bid teams and mentor authors to produce compelling, client-focused submissions.
  • Develop and implement streamlined submission processes to optimise efficiency.
What We’re Looking ForTo excel in this role, you’ll need:
  • A proven track record in pre-contract/pre-construction management within rail or civil engineering sectors (Tier 1 or 2).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire collaborative teamwork.
  • A deep understanding of multi-disciplinary rail projects and civil engineering markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
