The role of Junior Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse includes specialist Clinic skills in addition to managerial responsibilities.The post holder is required to work clinically within all areas of the Plastic Surgery Department including;Nurse Led Dressing ClinicsNurse Led Hand Therapy Clinics.Trauma clinicConsultant Led Outpatient clinicsMain duties of the job? The assessment of care needs for all patients, ensuring appropriatelyplanned care is both implemented and evaluated.? Working with minimal supervision and will be designated to take charge of the department on a regular basis.? Acting as an effective clinical leader and will ensure the clinical andprofessional development of all staff for whom they are responsible.? Ensuring a safe and clean environment? Supervising and teaching newly qualified and unqualified staff?
