We are recruiting for a successful Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent (PQS) to join an award-winning Construction Consultancy renowned for its impressive track record. You will play a leading role in Residential/Housing Projects within the North West region, where your expertise will be key in delivering cost consultancy services and fulfilling the responsibilities of the Employer’s Agent.Their project consists of a diverse range, from towering urban apartments, student accommodation, social housing and private residential.As part of this role, you will assume ownership of your assigned projects, serving as the primary liaison for the client. You will be involved in current procurement practices, with your specialised skill set and extensive experience playing a crucial role in fulfilling the duties of the Employer’s Agent.The Quantity Surveyor role:· Estimating and cost planning· Procurement advice· Tender document preparation and reporting· Contract administrator and cost control· Interim valuations· Cost reporting· Contract advice· Final account preparationThe Quantity Surveyor:· Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline· A minimum of 3 years’ experience· Have previously undertaken the role of Employers Agent would be advantageous· Feasibility and cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract services· Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client· Residential or Housing experience preferred· Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts and forging new business relationships· A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlinesIn Return?· A competitive salary & car· A great benefits package, including private health cover, pension scheme, income protection, life assurance and retail discount scheme· 25 days holiday increasing with length of service, plus holiday purchase and sell-back schemes· Ride 2 Work scheme· Hybrid working· Individual tailored development programme/chartership opportunities
