- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Mathematics that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Plan and implement effective schemes of work that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking school culture.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to Mathematics and STEM.
- Promote the importance of numeracy, analytical thinking, and resilience in students’ academic and personal development.
- Stay up to date with curriculum changes and best practices in Mathematics education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (applications from unqualified teachers with strong subject knowledge are welcome).
- A genuine passion for Mathematics and education.
- Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
- Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire students.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to student achievement, well-being, and continuous improvement.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
