CLASS 1 DRIVERMONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES: 4AM - 6AM£17.27 PER HOURPeople Solutions are pleased to be working with a well-known logistics provider to support their delivery network across the UK.You will be a key part of the delivery team completing up to five drops per day.Whilst working with People Solutions, you will have access to our online Worker Portal where you can view your weekly pay slips and book your holidays.Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per year pro-rata, accrued as you work.You will also have access to our fantastic Employee Assistance Program where you can receive discounts and offers for you and your family.BenefitsAs a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Day to Day Duties
  • Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently to and from various delivery locations
  • Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
  • Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
  • Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
  • Maintain all health and safety standards
  • Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
  • Comply with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations
  • Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy
  • Ensure all loads are safe and secure
Essential skillsAs a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
  • Hold a full UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have good communication skills
Desirable experience
  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles
  • Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training
  • Training on site specific processes will be provided
  • Ongoing support throughout
