Hours: 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday (term-time)About the Role:We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working Catering Assistant to support our client's school in Frome. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is passionate about providing nutritious meals to children.As this role is based within a school, an Enhanced DBS is required. If you do not currently have one, we can assist you in applying for one for £61, or provide the necessary information for you to apply independently.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staffEnsure kitchen and food service areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic at all timesSupport with washing up, clearing tables, and general kitchen dutiesFollow food hygiene and health & safety standards in line with school policiesSet up the dining area and help manage queues during service timesProvide friendly and professional service to students and staffEssential Requirements:A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service environment is desirable
