As an IT Procurement Consultant, you will play a critical role in shaping procurement strategies that make a difference. With an annual IT Software spend of approximately $200M, you will lead strategic sourcing projects, collaborate with suppliers, and drive improvements across global policies.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage critical global strategic sourcing and procurement projects within the IT Software category.
- Conduct strategic sourcing events: collect, analyse, and present data and recommendations to various management levels.
- Negotiate contracts and prices across Marketing, HR, Print, Business Services, and Applications categories.
- Create multi-year strategic sourcing roadmaps and educate the enterprise on market trends.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance value and drive innovation.
- Manage the RFx process (RFP, RFI, RFQ) from development to award.
- draught and review various agreements, ensuring compliance with risk control functions.
- Support regulatory compliance and monitor supplier adherence to contracts.
- Present procurement performance metrics to senior management.
- Experience in a global finance organisation.
- Extensive background in sourcing or procurement, particularly in indirect sourcing.
- In-depth knowledge of Software/Banking Applications category.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP Ariba, Peoplesoft, and Coupa.
- Superior project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Finance; MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
- Professional designation in Procurement/Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPM) is advantageous.
