Support WorkerReference: SW/RISHTON/0Salary: £23,953 per annumWe're recruiting Support Workers on behalf of one of the UK’s largest independent providers in neuro and mental healthcare, in Rishton, Lancashire! The service is a specialist residential service providing rehabilitation, care and support to vulnerable women with complex mental health issues. Purposefully small, the service has capacity for up to 6 female residents, allowing for a calm, relaxing environment.What to look forward to:

What you'll be working:
  • Full time hours - 37.5 hours per week
  • Long days including evenings and weekends.
  • Both days & night shifts available.
  • 12.5 hour shifts.
What you'll be doing:
  • Build relationships with the people you support, which are open and two way
  • Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme
  • Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
  • Communicate any issues to the clinical team
  • Accurately report and/or record work activities
What you'll have:
  • A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
