Residential & Public Sector Projects | Up to £40,000 + APC SupportA multidisciplinary consultancy based in South East London / Kent is looking for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. The firm has a strong focus on residential and public sector projects, offering a diverse workload and excellent APC support.You’ll work closely with senior surveyors on a variety of schemes, gaining hands-on experience in core building surveying and aditionally in other areas such as new-build and project management. This is a great opportunity to fast-track your career in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with site inspections, building surveys and defect analysisSupport the delivery of refurbishment and maintenance projectsPrepare schedules of work, specifications and professional reportsEngage with clients, contractors and consultants throughout project lifecyclesSupport tendering, contract administration, and procurement processesMonitor project costs and ensure budget complianceEnsure adherence to building regulations and health & safety standardsRequirementsRICS-accredited degree in Building SurveyingAt least 1-2 years experience in a building surveying role (placement or post-grad)Strong written and verbal communication skillsMotivated, professional and eager to developAble to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licencePackage & BenefitsSalary up to £40,000 (depending on experience)Full APC support and mentoring25 days’ annual leave, pension contributions and other benefitsInclusive and friendly working environmentClick Apply or get in touch for a confidential conversation with Andrew Pearson at EC Property Recruitment.
