Are you a fun and friendly nanny with SEN experience? An exciting two day nanny role has become available in Hertford, Hertfordshire. Working alongside a friendly and professional family, you will be caring for one little boy aged six, who has been diagnosed with autism. He is a friendly and happy boy who loves to be outside in the fresh air, learning about nature and going for walks. He also enjoys watching films at the cinema, singing, dressing up and role play, so a caring and bubbly and energetic nanny who would like to explore his creative side would be ideal. The family also has three grown up teenage children, who do not need any care. The hours will be 07.00-18.30 each day. The days will need to be a Wednesday, plus one other, which is flexible and can be agreed to suit both the nanny and the client. There is also the potential of occasional evening babysitting and overnight stays (which will be negotiated separately and paid as overtime). The little boy attends school each day, so school drop off and pick up is required. You will need to be a careful and confident driver with your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.As well as general care of the little boy, while he is at school, there will be time to help keep the family organised - family laundry, keeping the children's areas (bedrooms, playroom, kitchen, etc) tidy and organised and making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day. Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated - emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc. The family has a cleaner twice each week. The family has two small dogs (Maltipoos), so a short walk with them in the day would be part of the role.Once home from school, help with homework, dinner, bath and the bedtime routine will be required. You will cook healthy and nutritious meals for the little boy each day.In the school holidays (18 weeks), you will have time to take him on day trips and outings. He likes to have structure and routine to his day.If you are a kind and gentle nanny, who would like to help support this wonderful family, please apply below.Location of the job: Hertford, Hertfordshire
