About the roleJoin Balfour Beatty as a Compliance Coordinator - Traction Team (London Underground Projects)Based at our Huntly Road office, GlasgowWe're seeking a tenacious and proactive Compliance Coordinator to support our Traction Team on London Underground projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring quality and assurance standards are met across critical infrastructure work.Role PurposeTo provide specialist support to the Quality and Project teams, ensuring compliance with London Underground Standard S1900, Exchange Information Requirements GWI 300, and internal business certification standards throughout the project lifecycle.What you'll be doingKey Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track assurance deliverables in line with the project programme.
  • Collate and prepare assurance documentation for client submission, ensuring alignment with LU S1900 and EIR GWI 300.
  • Produce regular compliance reports against programme milestones.
  • Act as the central point of contact for Production and Handover Information management.
  • Ensure all information is compliant, correctly managed through the CDE, and includes mandatory metadata.
  • Manage multiple diaries and coordinate assurance review schedules.
  • Handle confidential project work as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
Who we're looking forEssential:
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and customer focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and SharePoint.
  • Experience maintaining secure electronic filing systems, including archiving.
Desirable:
  • In-depth knowledge of London Underground assurance standards, particularly S1900.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650.
