- Develop and execute a comprehensive Information Management Strategy including the successful implementation of relevant processes and procedures.
- Coordinate engagement and positive contribution from a cross-functional cohort of Information Management Representatives (DMRs), including facilitating a regular DMR forum.
- Define, implement, and maintain meta-data tagging and classification to enhance information organisation, retrieval and sharing.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the information management system and facilitate improvement initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of the information management system with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes to monitor compliance with information management requirements and establish reporting mechanisms and Key Performance Indicators as appropriate.
- Manage and provide guidance, support and performance feedback to direct reports.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring teams, overseeing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing enterprise level information management systems.
- Deep understanding of SharePoint and previous experience managing and maintaining documents in line with ISO9001, ISO15489 and ISO30301 principles
- Experience with system optimisation, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Degree qualified (Information Management) or equivalent relevant experience in a related field.
- Significant experience at a senior level as a dedicated information management professional, with strong emphasis on SharePoint.
- Certified Information Professional (CIP) or Certified Records Manager (CRM) desirable, but not essential.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills are a must.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- Articulate, clear, and professional communicator to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills to allow effective prioritisation and management of multiple activities.
