  • Job Title: B6 Family Safeguarding Mental Health Practitioner
  • Location: Manchester
  • Duration: 6 month ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday ( 9am to 5pm )
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: December 2025
  • Rate of Pay: £25 to £27 per hour (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:Join our team as a CPN and play a key role in improving the lives of Mental Health patients. In this role, you will:
  • Provide specialist mental health assessments and interventions to parents/carers involved in safeguarding processes.
  • Contribute to care planning and risk assessments in collaboration with social workers and other professionals.
  • Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions aimed at improving family stability and parental mental health.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, core groups, and case conferences.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with trust and safeguarding protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • a current and valid NMC registration and pin
  • experience working with Mental Health patients
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday to Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.This opportunity won’t last long!
