- Working closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualised support plans for students with SEMH needs
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to help students overcome challenges and build their confidence
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and progress
- Engaging students in creative and innovative learning activities that cater to their unique needs and interests
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to track student progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEMH needs
- Relevant qualifications and experience in supporting students with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to dealing with challenging situations
