This is a fantastic opportunity to support and inspire apprentices at various stages of their learning journey, helping them develop the practical skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to succeed in the industry.You will manage a caseload of learners, acting as a trusted mentor and assessor while working closely with employers to ensure workplace learning is meaningful and aligned to apprenticeship standards.Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is essential for this role.Key Responsibilities - Civil Engineering Assessor/Trainer
- Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers, offering high-quality feedback
- Support learners in building strong portfolios and preparing for End-Point Assessments (EPA)
- Collaborate with employers to identify practical tasks and training opportunities aligned with apprenticeship goals
- Monitor and document learner progress in line with quality assurance standards
- Deliver targeted training that also supports the development of wider life skills
- Ensure compliance with college and awarding body policies and practices
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Civil Engineering (essential)
- Industry experience within Civil Engineering
- A Level 3 Assessor qualification (TAQA or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one
- Internal Quality Assurance qualification (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A genuine passion for developing learners and working collaboratively with employers
- Good understanding of apprenticeship standards and the EPA process
