- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach KS5
- Design a diverse and inclusive curriculum that fosters critical thinking, literary analysis, and effective communication
- Implement formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and tailor instruction
- Contribute to enrichment programmes such as book clubs, debating societies, and theatre excursions
- Work collaboratively with staff to promote cross-curricular literacy and support whole-school initiatives
- Experience teaching English at secondary level (although enthusiastic ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply!)
- A genuine passion for literature, language, and student engagement
- Strong classroom management and differentiation strategies
