- CUR8 is looking for a commercially savvy and driven Carbon Finance Manager to scale our
- You’ll report to our Carbon Finance Director, and own deal origination, development, and stakeholder success as a true force multiplier.
- The role is a hybrid role, working from home but also from our Old Street office.
- Originate new customers: Connect with leading carbon removal companies seeking upfront capital to build and scale projects. Build relationships, map markets, and bring exceptional customers into the CUR8 ecosystem.
- Qualify and structure deals: Assess project viability, delivery potential, and bankability. Help design tailored offtake financing structures with competitive terms and clear milestones.
- Deliver the deal lifecycle: Lead customer negotiations, work with banks and capital partners, drive technical and financial due diligence, and manage deals from term sheet through delivery and repayment.
- Manage key stakeholders: Collaborate with CUR8's Science, Carbon Operations, and Product teams internally, and customers, funding partners, and buyers externally.
- Champion product growth: Channel market insights to evolve our offtake financing product, develop new features, and reinforce our position as a market leader in carbon removal financing.
- You’ve spent 5+ years commercialising financial products in startups, growth stage VC, or in banking.
- You build trust fast, thrive in multi-stakeholder environments, and can communicate simply even about technical topics.
- You listen deeply to customers and excel by helping them solve their problems.
- You’ve led projects, know what it takes to deliver growth, and own business outcomes.
- You have a knack for detail, and your financial modelling skills are second only to an excel ninja.
- You love ambiguous, fast-growing spaces and relish becoming the go-to person on your subject matter.
- You work fluidly across teams and hold yourself (and the business) to the highest standards.
