Position Title: Team Leader for Transportation Department
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £16.82 per hour. At the later stage, £32,000 – £35,000 per annumType: Full-time, Temp – Permanentshift times:
  • Tue – Sat 11:30 – 20:00 (includes 30mins unpaid break)
  • Thu – Mon (Thu, Fri, Sat 03:30 – 12:00 & Sun, Mon 11:30 – 20:00) (includes 30mins unpaid break)
Start date: Monday 18th August 2025We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leaders with excellent experience in supervising a team of drivers providing guidance and support to enhance performance and ongoing developmentKey Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of drivers providing guidance and support to enhance performance and ongoing development
  • Co-ordination & allocation of driver duties in line with driving and working time regulations
  • Monitoring & manage performance
  • Reporting & handling any exception which may arise during the shift
  • Pre-shift meetings / briefings
  • End of shift debrief and handovers
  • Driver safety
What we are looking for:
  • Knowledge or experience of DVSA compliance regulations (e.g. driver’s hours, WTD, tachograph laws, vehicle maintenance scheduling) & Health & Safety
  • Supporting the business to maintain the obligations of the Operator’s Licence by maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver compliance etc.
  • Liaise with internal departments to achieve despatch / delivery timelines
  • Monitor vehicle movements using telematics / GPS tracking systems
  • Accident investigations
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Telematics experience advantageous
  • Tachograph systems experience advantageous
