We are seeking a highly organized Senior Bookkeeper to join our Accounting & Finance team in Leeds. This role requires exceptional bookkeeping skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to lead a team efficiently.

Oversee and manage all general bookkeeping duties for the company.
Lead the Accounting & Finance team to meet company objectives.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.
Provide monthly financial reports and updates to senior management.
Implement and maintain effective financial systems and controls.
Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Mentor and develop junior staff within the Accounting & Finance department.

Further study support offered|Flexible working with an opportunity for a 4 day week.A successful Senior Bookkeeper should have:

A strong background in bookkeeping within the Professional Services industry.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
Profound knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong competency in MS Office and accounting software.
