🕒 Full-Time | Long-TermAre you a patient, caring, and committed individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Worthing is seeking a dedicated Individual Needs Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN, starting September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with a pupil, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive environment.🧩 Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with SEN needs
  • Assist in adapting learning materials and classroom activities
  • Support with social interaction, emotional regulation, and classroom routines
  • Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Promote inclusion and a positive learning experience throughout the day
✅ Requirements:
  • Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech & language)
  • A compassionate, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
