Our client, based in South London, are a reputable housing association currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager on a 3-month temporary contract.The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.The ideal candidate will have significant building safety experience and dealt with the Big 6 compliance streams.Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Support improvements across the Big Six landlord compliance areas (fire, gas, electrical, water, asbestos, and lifts)
  • Lead the revamp of the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) programme, ensuring actions are completed and the golden thread of information is maintained
  • Provide building safety guidance for high-rise residential buildings and enhance resident engagement and communication around safety issues
  • Implement a structured fire door inspection programme across the housing stock
  • Utilise the C365 compliance management system to monitor compliance and close out remedial actions
  • Consolidate compliance contracts through framework agreements
  • Review and rewrite all compliance policies and procedures to reflect current legislation and best practice
Experience required:
  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience within building safety and the big 6 compliance streams
