
Credit Manager

- Lead and develop the team, providing clear direction, motivation and support
- Review current credit control processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practice procedures
- Develop and embed a proactive credit control culture throughout the wider business
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure credit management is fully integrated with operational and commercial teams
- Maintain and develop relationships with key customers, handling escalated queries and negotiations where necessary
- Produce regular aged debt reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting key risks and actions
- Set clear targets and KPIs for the team to drive performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
- Proven experience in a senior credit control role, ideally within a fast paced or changing environment
- A strong people person who can inspire, lead, and develop a team
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident negotiator, commercially aware, and resilient under pressure
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with great attention to detail
