International PlannerDo you want to join a company that is recognised as one of the “1000 companies to inspire Britain” and who is number 8 in the UK's fastest 50 growing businesses this year?We have an exciting opportunity available on behalf of our well-established client based in Rugby (CV23) with an immediate start available with a basic salary of £30,000 P/A!Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting the General Manager Planning & Service/Planning Leads and wider teams in the implementation of planning requirements; to forecast, monitor and improve the full end to end parcel process
  • Working directly with the International commercial team and external stakeholders on accurate forecasting and utilisation of key data
  • Producing daily reports which contain volume, service level analysis, process and resource requirements for the network
  • Compiling and publishing weekly/monthly reports as required on network status and performance/compliance for cascade through Operations in from Director level and below
  • Provision of key analysis/processing data and planning constraints
  • Monitor accuracy of Forecast versus Actual Performance results to optimise labour and asset utilisation.
  • Escalating your findings to the appropriate operational area, alerting to the impact of non-action and advising recommendations for resolution and working with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
  • Hosting daily network conference calls with Managers and Senior Managers across various network stakeholder teams questioning service performance and escalating accordingly so that failures are understood and avoided going forwards
Job requirements
  • PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (strong Excel user)
  • Have the ability to communicate in a strong and confident manner effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Highly credible and be able to influence and win the confidence of others
  • Be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team, often in a high-pressured environment, and to establish effective working relationships at all levels of the business
